I exist for a Lifetime.
As a black person, I recognize that I carry a unique and powerful history with me. Throughout my life, I understand that my skin color is a reminder of my ancestors and the struggles that they endured. Although there is a month dedicated to celebrating black history, I recognize that I am part of history every day. My being is a testament to the strength and resilience of my people, and I do not need a month to be celebrated or recognized. I exist for a lifetime.
