Escape. If he had to describe it in one word, it would be escape. Not from his family, of course, but from the horrors that the apocalypse has created in his world. So many of his friends have died, and he’s done so many things that he never would have done before this that he just wants to forget it all. Even if it’s only for a few moments, he wants to forget it all. Taking care of the crops was his escape at the prison, but now that that’s gone his chances for it, and the ways to do it, have become a bit more scarce.
