For the love of coffee
Blacksmith Bakery in Fort Langley, BC and I have a love/hate relationship going on. Mostly love. Because it's a beautiful, chic french stlyed cafe serving up Republica Roasters Coffee, my fav. And it smells amazing in here all the time as they are baking, croissants, cookies and all manners of fancy patisseries in house all day long.
The seating inside and out is plentiful and there are one or two plugins to be found scattered around. But, MON DIEU, it's 2019! and no WiFi, WTF?! Yes, believe it, or not, sometimes, after dealing with people ALL DAY, we want to relax by tuning out the people while we tune in to a screen. Or take a break from sitting inside at work, but still get a little work done. But not here. So mostly I just skip this cafe and head on down the street to one of the other plethora of great coffee shops in this super cute town. Where I get to choose to disconnect by being connected if I want.
