Me crying about the lullaby and Hulk under the cut (spoilers)

Valkyrie and Hulk are basically friends. It’s canon. At least, they were playful towards each other on Sakaar but they seemed like friends.

So imagine a sort of reverse-lullaby

Valkyrie knows Hulk better than Bruce and Bruce knows this. Valkyrie thinks Bruce is cool too, it’s just that she gets along better with his alter. He's hesitant to change, but once Valkyrie is taught the lullaby, Bruce trusts her to be able to bring him back from hulk to Bruce. 

So when Val wants to hang with Hulk, she and Bruce do some ~sparring~ to get Bruce riled up and playful until the Hulk comes out, but Hulk is smiling and happy to see Valkyrie because holy shit guys Hulk has a friend (a second friend, if Thor counts)

Bad Ending: Natasha pushes Bruce into a pit (a pit within a floating city), thus taking away his choice to do something he openly fears. Bruce has no agency, Natasha is painted as a hypocrite, since you’d think she would know what it’s like to have her agency taken away and being forced to do things she’s not proud of

Good Ending: Natasha gives up on trying to convince Bruce to Hulk out, grabbing his gun and walking out (so then we get that badass walk that the trailers PROMISED US). bruce waits a beat, decides ON HIS OWN what he should do. then as natasha reaches the exit, she hears stomping behind her. a parallel to the first avengers movie with her face off with the hulk, except this time, she turns and he's standing behind her, grinning, ready to go to battle with her. then she's all "let's go, big guy." and she rides on his back to where the battle is happening

ok re: banner in endgame i really loved him?? which surprised me because i guess i thought this professor hulk development was going to destroy his character but it actually enhanced it? he felt more realized and three dimensional to me and he also looked like he was able to breathe for the first time in forever!!!!!! you can see he still has bruce's intelligence and gentleness paired with hulk's cavalierness(?) and sense of humor ANYWAYS tl;dr im in love

prof is absolutely father on main. just. he’s so happy!!!! he’s so happy. and i’m so happy because I Love Him

i was Very Worried that he was going to be a joke like in infinity war and he wasn’t( :D ); he was treated with dignity, he made the jokes instead of being the joke.
