Call for Submissions

I have just recently started writing for a DIY collective supporting women in music and the greater arts based in Leeds called Girls That Gig. I volunteered to write an opinion piece on Trump’s decision (if you could call it that) to ban transgender people from serving in the US Military because I’m the only American in their group of writers.

However, since I am not trans myself, I wanted to open up the piece to contribution from those of you who do identify as such, and not follow in the steps of those who have spoken over you. 

Whether or not you have experience with or interest in the military, I want to hear from you. I’ll be compiling your voices (anonymous or not) and including them in my article. Because some of the most important opinions are from those who never get the chance to project them.
