Pluto's Hillary Mountains
It took 9 years and 3 billion miles for NASA's New Horizons spacecraft to finally capture this view.
The Hillary Mountains, towering mountains of water ice, rising up to 3,500 meters, on the edge of a huge frozen nitrogen plain called Sputnik Planitia.

In Japan, some farmers raised ducks, fish, and azolla ferns together in one rice paddy. The ducks ate weeds and pests and stirred the water and soil, helping more oxygen reach the rice roots. The fish and ducks added nutrients through their waste, and the azolla fern spread across the surface and fixed nitrogen. This smart team-up was known as the Aigamo Method.

Day 16: Sulfur!
Barking Dog Reaction happens when you ignite a mix of carbon disulfide (CS2) and nitrous oxide (N2O) in a tube. It makes this really loud "barking" sound and a big flash, releasing a bunch of gas and leaving only Sulfur behind.
Just found this today, and I think I searched "sulfur" enough times that Youtube decided to start pushing me videos on a FPS game called Sulfur (looks pretty fun tbh, lol)
I'm a nutcase for trying new things and a friend recently gave me the nitrogen idea. As you can see, this absolutely turned out beautiful. 8 vials later, my belly enters a room before I do. I'm a monster and I'm... definitely... going to break a new record in the near future.
The James Webb Space Telescope is helping us look further and further into the universe than we ever did before.
Pictured above, is now confirmed to be the most distant galaxy ever known. MoM-z14, standing for Mirage or Miracle, is emitting light that comes from 280 million years after the Big Bang.
It was discovered that MoM-z14 has more nitrogen than thought to be possible by that time in the universe, suggesting that conditions might have been different from what has been theorized.
Due to the expansion of the universe, it is difficult to find these old galaxies. Their light is being stretched into longer wavelengths, making them appear redder. Following their discoveries, the MoM objects must be followed up with a spectrograph to confirm how much the light has been shifted. This process provides value as to how far away they really are.
