Getting 1st grade lesson plans ready for my edTPA. In a classroom with 85% African American, my students will understand that black history is everyday and that there were African Americans that did great things everyday even in times of segregation. My students will understand that attacks on them based on their skin color will not stop them from being great. Teaching this through Rap-a-Tap-Tap a story of Bill Robinson or Bo'jangles ✊🏾
