“Things just got worse than I was willing to admit,”
Wally nodded as he looked around. Buildings on fire, people running and screaming, and the issue at hand escalating at a horrific rate. “You are right, we are up shit creek without a paddle. Do we have a plan? I am not sure.”

"I count Bruce." Dick says offhandedly, knowing with Bruce Wayne his life would have been far different.
"Wally, you're scaring me, Bud. For one thing you're not eating." He puts a hand on Wally's shoulder to reassure him. "Whatever you gotta tell me, it won't change us being friends."

"I see, well that is up to you." He teased Dick a little and then fell quiet again before he spoke.
"My parents would beat me, emotionally abuse me, degrade me, anything you can think of, they did." He folded his hands. "I've had enough, I'm not going back to them this time. I'm not."

It was ironic, Nightwing was chained here, delirious and with several broken bones, yet the League of Assassin's hadn't 'assassed' him...chalk it up to the benevolence of Talia Al Ghul. Dick had wondered what her game was, but the League's Head gave no indication.
"Ah, Wallman! Boy am I glad to see you." He smiles, down but not out. "What do you mean everyone else? You mean didn't come alone?"

"I couldn't risk them trying to stop me. I have Roy, Donna, Garth, Karren, Vic and a few others. It was supposed to be small, but I went a little overboard with it." He laughed awkwardly as he vibrated Dick out.
"Grab on, I am getting you somewhere they can check you out medically." He told him in an authoritative tone.

Dodging the swing of a fist, Nightwing shoots Flash a smile. "Aye, it's the Calvary! What took you so long? Almost had all the fun to myself!"
Wally dodged a few bullets and returned the smile. "Sorry, had to take care of Weather Wizard. You know how my rogues get, they go too long without attention and pitch a fit."
