Once again I lost my mind at the end... I'm not entirely sure it's articulated the way I wanted, but I think it's cohesive enough that it'll be understood.

Opening of Blade Runner 2049 Character/Scene Analysis

Yeah, this gonna be long, please bear with me. I think I genuinely lost my mind about an hour into doing this. It's two in the morning and I started this at like... 11 at night.

Okay, also... please click the pics so you can actually read what I wrote, cuz goddamn is there a lot. The google doc I used was 36 pages, and when downloaded into a pdf it was 33 pages long.

Go from left to right (like the page on the left, and then the one on the right and repeat), I had to do it that way so I didn't go over the 30 pic limit for Tumblr.

Anyways... can you tell I love this movie and it hurts me dearly. Officer K, you have bewitched me. There's so many scenes I can talk about in this movie, but for now... let's just stick with the opening.

A 10 minute sequence took me 4 hours to write completely about, and I could probably keep going.

If I ever stop talking about Blade Runner, either the OG and/or 2049, know that I’ve been replaced with an imposter and they must be eliminated.

K is my blorbo I fear, and it’s gonna become everyone’s problem. Not even sleeping stopped me from being insane about him. It probably made it worse, cuz now my brain is functioning.

The opening of that movie… I know I made a post but damn, I think I’m always gonna gush about it. It’s so perfect.
