What scents do you associate with your PC?

afhiri's never been in the type of position to say, try perfumes and find her scent, to smell various things that are beautiful to see what she likes. she grew up in the shits of baldur's gate and smelt like dirt and muck for the majority of her life. when they left the city to travel and busk, with intent to stop being a burden on their ever expanding family, they revelled in how the world smelt. how nature smelt, out of the hells they spent so long in. how fresh beautiful flowers smelt without pollution suffocating their senses. how rivers smelt, how the world smelt after rain, all these beautiful things hidden from them. and then afhiri has new smells in their life, the smells of well loved books, of old wood, mixed in with salty air from the sea. i associate afhiri with the scents of their life, of all stages of their life. their troubled youth, their freedom at last, and the comfort of a wizards tower.

Who is your PC's favourite NPC(s) and why?

afhiri's favourite npcs are barcus wroot, omeluum and blurg!

for barcus, he is so funny and so silly and so smart! they ask him so many questions about his inventions and his cleverness. about what makes an artificer. about gnomes, about the ironhands, and his own life in baldur's gate. she really enjoys his time with him and thought he was serious when he said 'i could kiss you', barcus honey afhiri thinks you both deserve a smooch.

with omeluum and blurg, how can they not? how impossibly interesting! their curiousity at full force exploding from the seams! absolutely no anxiety or fear from a mindflayer, sheer joy from meeting one that is so nice to be around and so friendly. and a hobgoblin that is so silly and tries to connect their minds to have a chat? it's safe to say afhiri spent a great deal of time sitting on a mushroom cap listening to the two talk amongst themselves and answering any question they had. and they adored having someone so interested in their research and their lives. easy, fast, lifelong friends.

1. What drew your character to their LI and vice versa?

Ajax is drawn to Wyll’s charm 🥺 He’s the only one in camp who thinks the Blade of Frontiers schtick is adorable, though he doesn’t really say it out loud. (And he doesn’t need to, because he is SOOO obvious about it.) Wyll admires Ajax’s will to resist the Urge, and it’s something he recognizes within himself. He also likes Ajax’s raw strength 👀 and his ability to call upon the divine to empower his smite.

2. What was the first moment that they knew they were in love with their LI?

6. Who is the big spoon?

AJAX! Wyll is the little spoon, always.

13. How do they react at being away from each other?

Ajax is a puppy dog who misses Wyll soooo muuuuch whenever he’s away on a hunt (if for some reason he’s not there with him). He busies himself with whatever he can do but his mind is always wondering what Wyll is doing and if he’s okay 🥺 Wyll is much more composed about it but when he gets back, he always takes in Ajax for a really long hug that turns into a slow swaying dance.

29. What are your favorite moments that happen between them?

PLS THERE’S SO MANY IDK 😭 I’ll just say that time Wyll offers Ajax lute lessons… and of course their first dance together 🥺

haiii!!! Bringing Rana over for your little ask game hehe. Rana is a very short tiefling with an even shorter span for lighthearted conversation. She's rather quiet and very awkward, tending to keep to herself (except she attracts very positive characters, teehee). She's a neutral street urchin rogue who utilizes two daggers and all shadows to her advantage.! Her humor's rather dry but what she lacks in welcomeness she makes up in her strength and resilience. Also, she's loyal to a fault, once she likes you, you cant shake her away.

Ahh I love her. Idk if I’ve ever said this before but she’s literally so gorg, got me giggling and twirling my hair anytime I see her

The note that she attracts positive characters makes me think she might get along with my OC Freyr (they/them). Freyr is a paladin of Lathander and essentially my heart of gold character. They tend to gravitate toward people who are more introverted/reserved, they grew up in a big family that was very loud (family of bards) and they like the quiet now that they’re out on their own. They’re also very quick to devote themselves to their allies and vow to protect them so Rana would get that same intense loyalty in return

I think her dry sense of humor might throw them for a loop but they’d learn to take it in stride and laugh along. They’d also very much value her strength and resilience

Also the think the dynamic of borderline literal sunshine (I am not kidding Freyr’s whole color palette is gold too they might be as glowing and they’re definitely blinding) with sneaky rogue who sticks to the shadows has some real good potential

15. What is your Dark Urge's greatest fear?

Ajax is afraid of losing control of his Urges, of losing himself from it. In Act 1, he tries to manage it himself by redirecting the violence to his foes, but it's not enough; eventually he learns to share the burden with his companions. But in later Acts and post-game, he still carries that fear in the back of his mind that he'll lose it, that it's always part of him, never fully purged.

16. What is your Dark Urge's greatest desire?

To be free, of course. Free to want, to love, to let go of everything and just live in the moment without the constant fear that he'll end up killing his companions. Ajax has no interest in digging up his past; he only wants to create new memories with the people he cares about.

17. What is your Dark Urge's greatest regret?

Ajax has two (2) biggest regrets: first is killing Alfira and covering it up instead of being upfront about his Urge and asking for help. Second is helping Wyll with his oathbound duty to kill Karlach. Ajax was an oathbreaker and he didn't want Wyll to go through the same thing. He was too blinded by his loyalty to see the truth.

20. Is your Dark Urge open about their Urge or do they try to hide it? Why?

Ajax did not tell anyone about the Urge in Act 1. He only says he's afflicted with memory loss when Shadowheart confided about hers, but otherwise he's way too paranoid and prideful about dealing with it himself. Which of course, didn't end well. Even after Alfira, he still covered it up. Ajax only confessed when Wyll noticed he was carrying Alfira's lute on his back. It's not something he's proud of.

Sorry… I am also thinking abt new Wyll kiss… so I present you a question 🫶 how would Ajax react to the first time Wyll does a spinning kiss like that 🥺?

As much as Ajax likes to think he's suave and charismatic, that twirly kiss will leave him internally combusting and a sputtering blushing mess LOL. Then the next time Wyll does it, Ajax is prepared and he dips him (like in a dance) to kiss him back 🤭
