Francesca DiMattio 

I'm loving the Francesca DiMattio: Housewares exhibition at Blaffer Art Museum. It's amazing how much detail is part of each piece. I went to listen to a gallery talk today and just had to take photos. 

From the Blaffer website: Through material and formal collision her sculptures investigate and challenge ideas of the decorative and its association with femininity. Says DiMattio, “It changes what we think of as feminine and presents the domestic in forms that call for new adjectives.”
