hey here's my fic that i started.
just a quick explanation: it started off as just a headcanon, then i realised i could klainify it and make it completely awesome. it's not finished, nowhere near, but i don't really know where i'm going with it. i'll update as often as possible. it will be mostly fluff and angst, and probably a little bit of subtle smut but i'm not in to the graphic kind.
also, i tried to make a fanfiction.net account but it wouldn't work :-(
His eyes stung with unshed tears, tears he had refused to let fall for so long. They were determined, and had been hanging over his head for weeks now, but his pride prevented him from letting go. It was hard, so hard, and he was tired. Morose thoughts often invaded his mind, winding round the scraps of sanity that remained and blocking them out, slowly breaking him down. He was weaker, and quite often he got lost in his thoughts, letting them wander and take him deep into the crevices of himself he declared out of bounds all those years ago.
A harsh shove from behind reminded him of his surroundings. Cheers erupted around him as she sauntered onto the stage. The first few notes of 'Teenage Dream' started playing, and suddenly, for Kurt Hummel, it became all too much

As soon as the first tear dribbled from beneath his closed eyelid, Blaine's arms were in a vice-like grip around him, pulling Kurt close to his chest.
'It's OK,' he murmured, his voice gruff with emotion. He continued to mutter sweet nothings into Kurt's ear, one hand drawing lazy circles on the small of his back, the other wound itself into the soft, honey coloured locks that were immaculately combed, as always, into a smooth side-parting. Every touch, every movement was familiar to Kurt; these hands had explored him before. He buried his face into the clavicle of the other man's shoulder, inhaling the scent there. Sandalwood and something... something unplaceable. A fresh wave of tears overcame him as his mind was flooded with memories. He longed viciously for the moments he remembered; everything was new, exciting, and everything was Blaine.

Kurt was bleeding again. All over his new Gucci. His back was stinging and protesting, but this shirt sure as hell had to come off. Gingerly, he lifted his arms. A flash of pain immediately rippled down his spine, crippling him. He fell to the floor, only just getting his arms out in time to shield his face from smacking onto the leg of his office chair. He sighed into the carpet; he was tired. Tired of having to put up with it every single day, the constant fear, the hateful glares and the inevitable shoves into lockers. His back was bruised black and blue, and covered with healing scars that criss-crossed like a spider's web across his shoulders and down his spine. It wasn't the pain that bothered him the most - or even the blood stains on his favourite shirts - it was the reason behind the abuse. The ignorance, the hatred; all focused onto him.
A wave of anger coursed through his body, and seemingly of it's own accord, his arm flew out sideways and struck the wall with a balled fist. Kurt's face crumpled with pain, and he heaved himself into a sitting position. Ignoring the pain, he made another attempt at pulling the shirt over his head, hissing at the sting when his shoulder blades moved together. He did it quickly, so as not to prolong the pain.
He heaved a sigh, and settled his head to lean against the leg of his desk. Just another day in the life of Kurt Hummel.

His head lifted up, and looked deep into Blaine's eyes. He didn't need to see his face; those hazel eyes were unmistakable, and enough conformation. A thousand emotions flew across their faces, whizzing through their eyes and into the other's. Kurt's mouth opened, formed words but emitted no sound. Blaine pressed a tender finger to Kurt's open mouth, gently pressing his dry, cracked lips together.
'But... I... You... I don't...' As Kurt stumbled to gather and voice the chaos flying through his mind, Blaine's hands traveled from his back, down his arms, finally resting at his hands. He made to grab them, but was immediately met with resistance. With his fingers curled tight, Kurt tried to pull himself out of Blaine's grip. Confused, Blaine's hands wound around his wrists. As soon as his calloused fingers met with the rough surface of what used to be smooth, snow white skin, a spasm of fear jolted through his body.
Terror triggered in his eyes, which were still locked on Kurt's, desperately searching for answers. His eyes flicked down to where Kurt's wrists were still firm in his grasp. His grip was tighter than he'd thought, and he could see the red marks already forming around his fingers. Letting out a breath he hadn't realised he'd been holding, he loosened his grip around him.
Kurt lowered his head ashamedly, and once more felt himself pressed up against the firm chest of his ex-lover.
'You have nothing to be ashamed of, you hear?' Blaine whispered into the back of his head. He pulled him closer into his chest, and soon felt tears soaking through his t-shirt. His own eyes were wet and blurry with tears. He closed them, and lost himself in the all too familiar scent of Kurt's hair.

"Oh…awkward."
"We seem to be fans of that word today."
"Well, it sort defines this whole situation, doesn't it?"
"Is Kurt unhappy?"
"And I wonder why this is so awkward…"
"No, seriously. Is he depressed? Does he need medicine? Is he going to kill himself?"
"Now you decide to be a worrisome brother?"
"Just answer me!"
"No, he's not suicidal. But yes, I would say he's unhappy. You would be too if you got slammed into a locker every day and sexually harassed by your main tormentor."
"God, I feel horrible. As soon as he gets home, I'm gonna hug him so tight he'll pass out from lack of oxygen!"
"Because giving him brain damage is really the way to make him feel better."
"Not everything has to be fit into your little box of heterosexuality!" Kurt exclaimed. Blaine, who saw Kurt's telltale 'you'd-better-shut-up-before-I-verbally-destroy-you' signs, decided to end this once and for all. "I'm the bottom!" He interrupted. The other four turned to look at Blaine in shock. "We take turns, I suppose, but when it comes down to it, I am the bottom." Kurt groaned and slammed his head down on the table, resulting in a head of hair full of syrup.
Blaine, Not Actually Cheating, Chapter 8
When Kurt falls out of his bed, who is better to pick him up and tuck him back in than Blaine?
"I'm talking about you leading on Kurt," Wes grit out, jaw clenched almost painfully causing the hazel eyes to blink.
"We are friends." Came the calm statement.
"Are you sure both of you know this?" he answered scathingly. "Or are you so absorbed in your little farce of being the good and almighty moral leader that you've forgotten your protégée might develop feelings for you?"
"This is ridiculous," Blaine huffed, but his gaze was starting to fill with panic, giving him away easily. "Kurt knows that we are friends and he can always come to me."
"Oh yes, because you're so selfless and gallant!"
"What is your problem, Wes?" his friend exclaimed, growing agitated with his hostile attitude. "You barely ever talk to Kurt, what do you care what happens to him?"
"Maybe, I don't want to watch as you ruin him with your condescending need of comfort and gaining power," Wes shot back, tone cold mostly because Blaine was right. He almost never talked to Kurt aside from at Warblers' practice.
"I'm just trying to help him! You don't understand–"
"Oh no, don't give me the bullying shit, because no one will buy it. This isn't about befriending a vulnerable boy and offering him an outing!" he cut in, eyes narrowing, before he changed the topic altogether. "Do you know that know that no one dares to approach him, because everyone thinks you two are going out?"
"What? That's ridiculous!" Blaine sounded outraged, face twisting into a grimace of confusion once again. "But we are friends!"
"Have you ever seen me and David serenade each other with disgustingly romantic songs like Teenage Dream?" Wes countered, crossing his arms in front of his chest. "Or singing date rape duets, while undressing each other with our eyes?"
"What are you talking about? I just asked Kurt to help me practice for the concert, it was nothing romantic," the younger boy defended, shaking his head in denial. "He has the widest range among the Warblers and he's my friend."
"Then maybe, you should tell him this yourself, so he won't keep his hopes up about you two getting together in the future." And with that he stormed out of the room.
If that's what you call being rude Blaine, you seriously need a reality check. And to meet Santana Lopez.
Kurt Hummel (And the Little Bird Sings, Chapter 7)
This just proves that every single 'Scott Pilgrim' fanfiction glee-style has a slash or femslash pairing. lolz.
