"What's that?" Rachel asks, nodding at the book in Kurt's hand.

It's been in his dresser drawer for months--well-worn and repeatedly read, edges worn and favorite passages underlined. It's an old edition, the edges yellowed and crispy. To Kurt, it's always felt fragile, partially because it's Blaine's favorite book and partially because of the delicate binding.

"It's nothing," Kurt says, turning his back to her and bringing it up to his nose for one final sniff--one last chance to commit the scent to memory--before putting it in the padded envelope.

He carries it with him to work, dropping it in with the rest of the mail. When the mailman picks it up later that day, he ignores the tightening in his chest at his very last piece of his very first love walking away.

1. Favorite character: Belle. There’s a lot about Beauty and the Beast that bothers me, but I love Belle.

9. Favorite princess movie: Does Mulan count as a princess movie? She’s in the Disney Princess line, but she’s not a princess. (They should be called Disney Heroines instead.) If Mulan doesn’t count, then Princess and the Frog is my next favorite.

10. Favorite non-princess movie: It’s a tie between Lilo & Stitch and Fantasia.

39. A scene that makes me cry:”This is my family. I found it, all on my own. It’s little, and broken, but still good. Yeah, still good.” (There are several scenes  in Lilo & Stitch that make me cry, actually, but especially that one.)
