i think blaine did latin and french at dalton, but latin never made sense and he only made an effort in french because kurt was so good at it. i think he knows a bit of tagalog because his mom’s side of the family are fluent and he likes to be able to talk to his mom without his dad being able to understand hehe

he wants to learn italian because it’s the ~~language of love~~ and he will fight anyone who says french is the language of love (read: politely disagree)

For the ask meme: I prefer Ash over Red

I’ll have to say I agree on that one! I mean, Ash was the one I loved first and for several years longer. And the thing is, Red is such a blank slate. He has several traits that I think everyone can agree on, but for the most part, his personality is whatever the person playing as him is. Well, that’s concerning game Red. I’m not into the manga, so I won’t make any comments on that Red. As for Origins Red, he reminds me a lot of Ash, which is probably why I liked him so much.

But yeah I prefer Ash, mostly because he’s such a kind, unorthodox, maverick of a trainer. Also, because he loses so often and manages to stay upbeat. And even when he’s down, he doesn’t stay like that for so long.

disgusting. this is why we shouldn’t trust white feminists (especially cis men white feminists.)

i shouldn't be this upset about it, but i am. it's just so depressing to see that as far as a lot of people are concerned, feminism is only worth supporting when the people who head it are cisgender, white, and happily ableist, racist, and transphobic - which is obviously all excusable, because they are funny sometimes and write "strong" female characters.

idk i feel a little bit like i'm overreacting? but at the same time the scene was SO filled with casual racism. like, touching one of the black girls' hair without permission and then asking whether it was a weave, making comments about hip-hop, etc, doing this fucking weird chest-pounding humming thing which i GUESS was supposed to be tribal?? i hoped it wasn't but idk what else it could be...
