Blake Evans and the Golden Box
Crossing the lines of the wizarding world. Across the Atlantic Ocean, in the United States. Blake Evans was one of the oldest Campers at Camp Half-blood. Recognized as Athena's son, Blake is a very intelligent and encouraging young man, although he is quite introverted, he is always involved in almost everything at camp.
Like most Half-bloods, his life is not easy, but it gets even worse when he starts having nightmares of a young girl crying begging him to return what had been stolen from him. From that moment Blake finds himself involved in a quest to retrieve this mysterious artifact, before its power falls into the wrong hands.

OC thing: My life is not a game, My light heart is also sincere, My bravery is never foolish
I have given up my name, and gained freedom I have never known.
I have given up my ties, and gained an ally like no other.
I am a knife, I am a scalpel, I cut to remove and I cut to heal.
I am no longer a plaything. I am no longer a tool. I am not to be trifled with.
I am Goswin Vanadis, and my life is not a game.

Strife does not need to create anger in the hearts of men. There will always be justice, so long as there are those that seek it. There will always be hope, for those that look for it. Love will always answer after hate leaves it’s claws in you, and will find you when you need it most. There will always be those willing to fight for these things, to put themselves on the line to protect the innocent.
My name is Peyton-Rose, and my light heart is sincere.
—
I’m not selfish, or I try not to be at least. I’m not a brave person, or a foolish one. I only do what’s expected of me–what’s expected of a Doctor. This bare amount of effort isn’t worth fucking commendation.
But I suppose people call me so anyway? People call me strong, but I don’t feel it. People call me brave, but I’m not. Not until someone’s bleeding out in front of me. At that moment, I cease to exist. I’m a reaction, I’m a force of nature. There’s nothing bad about that.
I’m Blake Evans, and my bravery is never foolish.
1, 9, 10, 25. For anyone. Or everyone.
Well I’m not going to do everyone, but I’ll do my three favorites.
1:their voice
Goswin Vanadis, SWTOR: She has a lighter voice that sounds like it’d fall on the second-soprano range, though she’s able to change her pitch rather easily. Typically, she speaks with the crisp Imperial accent typical of Kaas City, though once more she’s able to adopt a number of different accents due to her old espionage training.
Blake Evans, SS13: Her voice both in speaking and in singing falls squarely in the Alto range, though years of smoking has given it a rough edge. Her accent is decidedly neutral, though she has a tenancy to growl and slur her words when her temper flares due to her near-constant use of Gutter to converse with select friends.
Peyton-Rose Laborde, SS13: While they speak with their head-voice, they have a neutral tone that doesn’t convey a strong impression of being male or female. They tend to over-enunciate their words when speaking, and tend to keep their emotions out of their voice. It’s hard to tell what they’re feeling due to this.
9:their theme
(Cue someone calling my musical tastes shit)
Goswin Vanadis: Walking With A Ghost
Blake Evans: The Phoenix
Peyton-Rose: Silent Running
10:their fashion sense
Goswin: Her wardrobe has expanded a great deal since her time in Imperial Intelligence–though she still much prefers functionality over form, and tends to go with layered practical vests, boots, and slacks. It’s rare that she’s without a harness or belt with her multitude of bots and probes, and she tends to err towards natural browns, greens, and blues. Even if you can’t see it, she always has her vibroknife somewhere on her person.
Blake: Has a horrible sense of fashion, forgoing makeup and forsaking traditional feminine things for a pair of thick boots. Part of her has never left her teenage punk phase, and when not wearing scrubs and a labcoat, can often be found wearing a worn black leather jacket that’s a few sizes too large. When not wearing that, she likes wearing tank tops that show off her snake tattoos.
Peyton-Rose: They’re much more with the current fashions, though they’ll always be partial to long coats (either trench or peacoats, depending on their current job,) and suits. They’re always well-groomed, well-dressed, and rarely without their cane.
25:why you enjoy them
Goswin: Christ, Goswin’s a part of me that’s desperately trying to put issues behind me. She’s growing, learning, and evolving–and finding her real identity under the layers and layers of false personalities and disassociation she’s hidden behind for years. She’s complicated, and part of me enjoys seeing people absolutely thrown for a loop when she suddenly slips back into her old Intelligence mindset–no longer a wallflower Medic, but an efficient killer.
Blake: She’s cathartic to play. She’s angry about a lot of things, and she’s able to CHANGE things through her anger–but she’s also an efficient and gifted Doctor who deeply cares about the lives of those she attends to. Over the course of the last year and a half, she’s found her better half and the anger’s been receding. I like seeing her change, I like seeing her change others.
Peyton-Rose: Okay I’m going to admit, half the reason I love playing them is because they’re non-standard as far as Detective roles goes. They’re agender, and through them I get to normalize the idea of nonbinary individuals. I’ve talked to a lot of people on Bay who told me that they’re emboldened by the fact that Pey’s so out-there trans, and it’s great. It’s also fun to be able to play through my old Sherlock Holmes fantasies through them.
Blake Evans, my Sole Survivor from Fallout 4. He ultimately sided with the Brotherhood of Steel. Charismatic, accurate, and fast.
