2026 books - love song by elle kennedy
“You want to be seen. That’s what you said, isn’t it?”
I just finished Love Song by Elle Kennedy and I’m actually dead, that book was so good, everyone is hating on Wyatt and I don’t get it. Yes him and Blake were emotionally immature but we get to see them grow in the book. I was also devastated for Blake and Wyatt. Him crying because the loss is hitting him really hard made me want to cry.

This work is inspired by the bonus content Elle Kennedy released on her official website — the amazing “Off the Pages” stories about our favorite Off Campus couples. If you haven’t read those four bonus chapters yet, I highly recommend checking them out, they’re funny, emotional, and full of little details that gave me tons of inspiration.
Each chapter of my fanfic is dedicated to one couple, and either continues their story or explores flashbacks based on small moments Elle gave us in those bonus scenes.
Off Campus ramble.
In The Mistake Logan jokes about marrying Grace when they first meet. In The Legacy they elope. Then in The Graham Effect Hannah says “that boy (Wyatt) isn’t bringing another girl home until he’s already eloped”. We jump on over to The Charlie Method where Blake makes an off handed comment that she thinks Wyatt is cute.
Garett and Logan are basically brothers. Elle said we’d get childhood friends to lovers with the kids and that my friends are the crumbles that kept me sane for the past year. And then Miss Kennedy dropped the news on the most random day of the week that we are indeed getting Blake Logan and Wyatt Graham. This is old news but I’m still in disbelief

✩🧩🎶Review:
Kennedy’s forbidden summer romance hits all the right notes!
“Love Song” follows Blake Logan and Wyatt Graham after fate brings them together at their family’s shared lake house. Recovering from a break-up, the last thing on Blake’s mind is hooking up with the guy who shattered her pride when she confessed her crush at sixteen, but the slow-burning tension between them is impossible to ignore. They both know whatever they have can’t last past the summer, but soon they’re tangled in something that feels dangerously like more.
This book is filled with forbidden yearning and intense chemistry that make it impossible to put down. I just loved Wyatt and Blake as a couple. Both characters bond over the pressure they feel to measure up to their famous parents’ legacy. A genuine friendship forms while they spend the summer under the same roof that only makes their romantic relationship that much stronger. I loved watching Wyatt shed the bad boy musician image he projected onto himself. Blake may have fallen first, but Wyatt fell harder. The moment they finally decide to pursue each other, sparks fly!
The tragedy that they both experience is an emotional moment in the story that made my heart ache, but I love how their relationship became stronger as they opened up and worked through their trauma together.
While this book is technically considered a standalone set in the Briar University world, I strongly recommend reading the Off-Campus, Briar U, and Campus Diaries series beforehand, as many of the characters from these books make appearances in “Love Song.” While I have read some of Kennedy’s backlist, the cast is huge and introductions were not made for everyone. As a result, I did have difficulty keeping track of who was who. At the same time, I really enjoyed catching up with some of my favorite couples from earlier books! Their interactions were hilarious without stealing the show from Blake and Wyatt.

2015 Miami Marlins minor league depth: Relief Pitching Pt. 1
It’s no secret that the Miami Marlins bullpen has struggled to hold down leads for the Fish this season, contributing to 4 of the Marlins 14 losses, and is armed with just three relievers with a FIP below 3.00. As of this moment, the only bright spots in the Marlins major league pen are A.J. Ramos, Sam Dyson and Nick Masset. The brightest spot of them all so far, is of course, A.J. Ramos. He has…
