Mercutio was still a family Sim deep down and sometimes caught himself daydreaming about adopting a child with Tybalt. He just wasn't sure if the two of them would be able to raise a functional person with their own traumas.

Some unexpected visitors showed up and even though Mercutio didn't know either of them, he recognized a popular local DJ and couldn't help himself inviting the two inside.

The two used Mercutio's hospitality to rummage through the fridge for free snacks and joined him for the midday drama on TV. He really had no idea why those guys showed up for, but felt it would be rude to kick them out.

That is, until Blake started to ramble about money and Mercutio's fight-or-flight response activated. He might've been overly friendly, but not stupid.

Mercutio: I think you might want to leave. My husband is a lawyer and I'm not afraid to use him.

After the small funeral, Erin invited the two for dinner to make sure they still see her as a part of the family. She knew Ophelia wasn't interested in her late aunt's "fortune", but Blake still didn't entirely like her and could try kicking her out of the house now that Olive was gone.

The three of them agreed Olive wouldn't want a big party "celebrating" her death, so they had a toast in her honor and Erin was left alone to grieve (and clean up).

She tried to keep herself busy by studying logic in hopes of improving her work performance even further. She needed those promotions and better wages now more than ever.

To nobody's surprise, only Blake and Ophelia showed up to mourn Olive's death. They didn't take their spouses or kids along, since Olive was not a particularly social person. Blake couldn't help feeling a little sour about Erin forgetting to even call him after his mother's death. If it wasn't for Knut, who knows when he'd find out.

Olive was buried at her favourite spot on their family cemetery. Ophelia was definitely the least sad one of the three. She grew to like her aunt in the end, but not enough to bawl her eyes out over her grave. She mostly felt bad for the others, who were left without a wife or mother all of a sudden.

Ding dong! The witch is dead. Blake showed up as soon as he heard the echoing burp from within the workshop. He almost fell asleep waiting out there, but Circe was ultimately defeated by the most basic need for sustenance.

Faith told him to take a sip from the cowplant's udder once Circe was swallowed and while initially he felt grossed out by the idea, he was too excited about his oppressor being gone to be picky.

Turns out vengeance tastes like a plant-based milk. It made Blake feel rejuvenated, but also weirdly thrilled about "liquidating" people who cross him...

For some reason Blake would always get distracted during his morning bath and could never remember to wash behind ears properly. Who knows why.

The Spring weather was in full power on Saturday, so Virginya could finally use some of that sunlight to play outside. At least until one of the neighbours didn't show up in his coincidentally unsettling work uniform and started harassing her.

Thankfully, daddy Blake rushed to the rescue and dealt with the creepy neighbour with a painful prank.

When Ajay wasn't around, Faith showed up to further discuss the plan to deal with Circe Beaker. She mentioned something about an old warehouse and cows, but Blake didn't really get any of it. In the end she just explained they will need to bait the woman to a specific location in Strangetown and he'll find out everything there.

They arranged the "plan" for Sunday, so Blake just had to wait and make sure he doesn't get into any more trouble in the meantime. He was too excited to sit in place, but luckily taking care of Ginya was a good distraction.

Virginya was proud to present her dad with another A+ report card from school. He couldn't wait to rub it in Ajay's face once he returns from work. He was so doubtful about them being able to raise a child well and now look at them having a child genius.

Since Ajay went to work and couldn't be there, Blake had to step up and help Ginya with her homework. It went as good as one can imagine...

They might've half-assed it a little, but they finished and got to enjoy the rest of the afternoon in peace.

In the meantime, Ajay didn't have a good day at work and the last case made him literally lose a brain cell.

He still ended up with a promotion, though.
