Blanche celebrated her first birthday shortly before Ambrose had his eighteenth. Though the family was somewhat shocked to see Larissa at their home the day of Ambrose’s birthday. She explained that it was time for her to leave Windenburg since people were beginning to wonder about the fact that age didn’t show on her face and that she had left her copy of Talia’s tome with Francis but that she wished for another as she, Gideon and Rose headed to a town called Tartosa. Thomas was delighted to see his sister once more in person though it was odd to see that while he had changed, she still looked the same as the day she left aside from picking up a bit of an accent from living in Windenburg for a considerable amount of time but while he wished for her to stay his own shock was the proof he needed to know that the longer she stayed the more danger she would be in. So he made a copy of the tome to keep in touch before she left a week later after staying with Simon to recover for the rest of her journey.
Larissa’s arrival was the push Ambrose needed to decide that he wanted to marry someone from town before he and his sister’s family left to form their own town and so he asked Geoffrey Silversweater for his daughter’s hand in marriage which he was granted. Luckily the proposal was accepted by Ann since she too was curious about travelling to a land where spellcasters would be free to practice their craft in safety.
