Last month I got to paint my biggest wall so far. Standing at 22 metres tall, the Weethalle Silos are nearly 100 years old, and still in use. After some months of prep work and paperwork, it took me 2 weeks exactly to paint the mural. I would like to thank Rebecca McDonnell and the Bland Shire Council for this awesome opportunity to go big! A huge thank you to Paul Northey and The Baronlonga Pastoral Company for the silos, accommodation, and sorting out all the problems along the way which made things run super smooth. Big thank you to Chris Cutler and the team at Paint Spot Footscray for all the support and invaluable advices. Thank you Haymes Paint for paint sponsorship. Shout out to brother @dukeygrimo for the Loop Cans. And thank you Millie Brown (http://www.milliebrown.com.au/) for the reference photo. And HUGE thank you to @jamaru_digital for putting up with me during this whole adventure, and for producing this awesome video! Lastly, thank you to everyone we met in Weethalle, for your warm hospitality, and support. Thank you for the campfire cookout, for showing us around, and for all the hangovers! I was not surprised to read that the name "Weethalle" is apparently an aboriginal word for 'drink' haha. #heesco #mongohustle #blandshire #weethallesilos #jamarudigital (at Weethalle, New South Wales, Australia)
