Another one based on the 10 stitch pattern, only this time itās 15 stitches, knitted in strips, cast off, then cast on again and pick up down the side of the last panel. Itās reversible, nice on either side. Yarn is all acrylic, 8 ply, knitted on 3.75 dpns End blanket is approximately 1 meter x 2.5 meters. Finished this one, and not really sure whether I like it or not! As previously noted in another post, I adapted Frankieās 10 stitch Zig Zag blanket pattern, and just made straight strips, beginning with one strip then adding the next from the bottom of the last one. All of this is done with donated yarn, and no sewing up!

Our Knit For Charity group is making squares and strips to be joined and made into blankets. As a sampler I created this one:
Picture taken before washing and blocking, but I am pretty happy with how it turned out. It is a combination of 12 x 12 inch squares, and multiples of 12 inch strips and squares, made with left over yarns. Interestingly, it has made up quite a heavy, warm blanket. LOTSā¦
