Friday Finds in Toledo, Ohio - Parks Inverness Club, established in 1903 west of the city along Dorr Street, because one of the premier clubs in the country. Golf was becoming increasingly popular in the early decades of the twentieth century, and in addition to Toledo's public courses at Ottawa and Bay View parks, and the private Toledo Country Club, founded in 1897, developed along the Maumee River in South Toledo, Inverness Club hosted a number of major championships.
