Absolutely not
I think my biggest fear is losing the ones I love. It's the sting of the abrupt end of a long relationship and the bitter loneliness that sets in that terrifies me.
Understandable. It’s a rather painful thing.
Though as with many other agonizing experiences, I’ve found that it stings less each time it happens. And being numb is sometimes better. It’s not exactly ideal, but defense mechanisms are defense mechanisms and your own survival is the important thing. Learning to enjoy your own company helps.

So what attracts you to hearing the fears of others?
It’s difficult to explain. Really, I’m still discovering just what it is myself.
But whatever the reason, I do love it so. Perhaps it’s something about being shown a part of someone they are conditioned to keep to themselves. Someone exposing themselves to me. Showing me their tender, vulnerable underbelly.
Among other things, I am a secret eater. It pleases me when people tell me private things like fears, dreams, confessions, regrets, and secrets.
