hello! i was inspired by one of your posts and wanted to drop this idea off here while it’s still in my little brain :3

George is that older friend who acts like he’s doing Sapnap a favor for teaching him how to properly kiss and smoke and how to flirt naturally and all that fun stuff since Sapnap is just oh so bad at it all.

He never got the chance to really do much people closer to his age, so George takes it upon himself to help “catch him up to speed.” It’s all meant to be helpful for Sapnap, and George gets to have a form of casual fun, so it’s a win-win for in his mind.

George and Sapnap keep up their arrangement for a while, long enough to where George kind of assumes that Sapnap is hopeless with other people besides him, starts entertaining the idea that the younger is stuck with him until the day george gets bored.

So imagine his surprise when one day Sapnap declines his offer for an afternoon make out session to go hang out with blake instead. Sapnap doesn’t even tell him their plans, ignoring George’s questions, all he lets him know is that he’d be back late. It doesn’t bother George at all, not really anyway. He knows Sapnap and Blake have been texting more frequently these days. He even finds it a little funny, he’s seeing his student is finally leaving the nest and spreading his wings.

But then Sapnap declines again two weeks later. Then again that same week. The weekly meetups become more of an every other day occurrence. Sometimes Sapnap is gone for longer than a day and George can never get him to spill what exactly he and Blake are doing— and it’s at this point where George becomes bothered.

He’s losing him, at least that what it’s like in George’s mind. The moments with sapnap he finds himself enjoying, the ones he didn’t realize how much he looked forward to are now so rare he struggles to remember when the last time they properly did anything together.

His frustration gets worse when Blake moves in. His mind doesn’t have to run circles over what the younger is doing out with his friend. Now all those things that he taught sapnap, all of it is on full display right in front of him.

He can hear low murmurs shared between the two, nothing coherent but the red on their cheeks and soft smiles tells him all he needs to know. He catches sight of the two smoking in their backyard, backs facing him as they pass a cigarette off to one another with familiarity that make his seethe.

He doesn’t see them kiss, not yet anyway, he hopes he never does. Maybe he’s subconsciously avoided them in fear of what the sight of the two being that close might do to him.

and that’s all i got, hope it was coherent :P

george thinking he has all the control only to come to the abrupt realization that he was way more attached to Sapnap than he wanted to be. REALLY GOOD 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

George taking his anger out on sapnap by "punishing" him by being cagey and trying to deny him. And sapnap doesn't notice at first because he hasn't been asking for anything, but then realizes he misses his friend and confronts George about it. and George walk them to the backyard where he seen Blake and sapnap smoking and he pulls out a cigarette And doesn't let Sapnap have any. sapnap's trying to talk to him, and he fully ignores him and blows smoke in his face.

sapnap says he misses "his friend" (thinking george doesn't want to be with him if he's with blake) and george scoffs and asks "is that what i am?" staring down his nose at sapnap, holding the silence and watching him squirm.

but sapnaps always been the more emotionally mature one, so he confesses both his budding romance with blake and his long standing crush on george. and george... doesn't know how to handle it. sapnap keep pulling the run out from underneath him and he can't find his footing.

they're both just watching each other, the cig between george's fingers burning closer and closer to the end. and then the sliding door behind them rolls open and blake steps out, chill as always, and plops down on sapnaps other side, lighting his own cig and leaning back on his hand.

then tension is thick but blake doesn't seem phased by it, instead he nudges his shoulder into sapnaps and gives george a nod. george, still mildly freaking from the confession, places a territorial hand on sapnaps thigh. but sapnap just sighs and threads their fingers together. and they stay like that until the sun starts to dip below the horizon. they'll talk about it later... maybe...
