“Oh, hey! I’d like to request a formal outfit for the Winter Ball, if you’re still accepting requests! I know that the ad said dresses and suits, but… I’m actually interested in a kimono. What? The invitation didn’t specify Western fancy style!”
“A-Anyway, I have sketched a design I had in mind a while ago. (http://wonderfulworldofmoi.tumblr.com/post/167773555519/last-week-i-had-a-dream-that-i-bought-an-ace) Simple yet elegant, no? But there’s a thing. I designed that with fall in mind. Winter kimonos should have some padding added (http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01745/kimono_1745623a.jpg).”
“Soooo, if you could do this for me, I’d be very grateful!”
“Let’s see… I can certainly make this with thermal fabric to keep you warm, but the fluff is cute. Hm…! I’ll ask Vlad and Haruna about this… Come back in two days, Miss Fey.”
The fluff wasn’t the complicated part–it was trying to decorate the silk like Maya wanted… Someone with an eye for colors was better suited for that than Iori. And after working with the other two–with them designing and working with dyes and Iori attaching it to the thermal fabric. Sew on the warm, fluffy shawl and attachments… And there! It was certainly a two-day endeavor, but worth it!
“There! That was certainly a challenge for our team–thank you for the opportunity. I hope that suffices.”
