He looks over at Hidetoshi, sitting in the dorm with his arms crossed, looking like he lost a fight with someone.
And then Junpei smirks and decides to finally say: "...so, you finally got that frustration out for Shinjiro-san? 'cause I can't tell if he kissed or kicked your ass with the way you are pouting."
"...!?"
The speed at which Hidetoshi's face went red is almost comical. What's also comical, actually, is how quickly that his face goes from flushed surprise to anger incarnate.
"...Your Persona, Hermes, is weak to wind attacks, right, Junpei-kun? I'd recommend that you watch your back when we go into Tartarus tonight."
As Hidetoshi isn't normally one to threaten, this translates into: Yes. Shut up.

It wasn't a very common sight for anyone to see him outside of work, let alone someone that knows him. It was a far more common sight for him to be reading something related to his job, even when he wasn't on the job. With his nose in a medical journey, reading up on all the advances to try and incorporate into his job.
"It's still a welcome sight to see the field hasn't stagnated." He would mutter to himself, perceiving that there wasn't anyone that was going to pay his mumblings any heed.

It was burning.
Everything around them was burning.
The bar had been one of the pinpoints for the explosion; an unexpected assault on the slums. The disbelief was hard to swallow, pieces of the place Tifa had called home dissipating before her very eyes. The fire reflected in ruby hues, eyes wide as she grabbed what she could before the bar turned to ash.
Materials were the last thing on her mind as she began to assist the other townsfolk to evacuate. She covered her nose with a handkerchief she found, but the scent of fire and smoke crept through. She knew it was only a matter of time before it engulfed everything, but even then, she did her best to supply assistance where she could. The fires themselves were left to the firefighters called to the slums, and anyone who could, stayed behind to help.
It wasn't until the monk was hurrying past one of the buildings -- the inn she had grown to know so well -- that she heard a voice cry out.
"Wait! You can't just leave me here alone!"
It didn't take much for her to spin on her toes to enter the smog where the voice had come from. As the frame of the building began to collapse around her, she called out, back to the voice. "Hello!?" She called between coughs as the smoke entered her senses. "Where are you?"
Before long, she found the man and stretched her arm to him. "Take my hand," she called out. "I'll get you out!"
"Yo, Akihiko-san! Are you busy at the moment? I need to talk to you. Nothing bad, I promise." Junpei help his hands up, showing he had nothing to hide. "Just need a guy to talk to and our leader is busy, Aragaki-san is somewhere, and Ken is too young. Mind chatting with me?"
Why did it seem like Akihiko was the last resort to Junpei's question. It almost didn't want him to actually agree to any of this but the other male hadn't asked Mitsuru for the conversation. Ah, who was Akihiko kidding? No one just volunteered to strike any inquires with the ice queen of execution as everyone else called the redhead throughout the team.
"Sure. If it's something that I can help with, I don't see why not".
Although, he's still a little down in the dumps that Junpei didn't come to him first. Sure, Akihiko was Junpei's senpai but he liked to think he was at least reliable for the rest of the male teammates to come to him if they needed help.
"You know, you could had come to me first instead of the others. Sure, I'm not smart enough to be on Mitsuru's level but you can rely on me, okay? I am your senior after all".

sorry…my mind’s on other things. (For Chidorita!)
"It's alright..." It wasn't the first time Chidori had caught Junpei spacing out mid-conversation. She would have been offended, but while she didn't know all the details, she knew he was dealing with a lot.
She'd seen the news report about the Gekkoukan student who just fell asleep one day and... never woke up again. It was such a strange way for someone so young to die, she figured it had to be related to the fragments of her memories that kept appearing in her dreams. Memories that she was still struggling to piece together, even if Junpei seemed to think she'd be better off without them.
But it still hurt that he kept those things to himself. Even if she couldn't remember exactly what their relationship had been like before, the warm feeling she got whenever she was around him was enough proof Chidori needed to know Junpei was someone very important to her. She wanted to be there for him when he was struggling.
"I don't mind if you'd like to talk about it. It might help."
