I do a lot of pipetting for my job position and for a while I had developed carpal tunnel. My doctor suggested getting a forearm brace to help train my arm/hand on what position it should be in to not aggravate it. She showed me a quick trick to see if it would help. You wrap your hand around the thickest part of the muscle of your forearm and attempt to do your normal motion that made you notice the problem. If it feels better just holding it with your own hand then a forearm brace might be right for you.
wow okay yeah!!! taking notes!! I will definitely try that out and see if that helps!!
my sister DID say that finding the right brace could be very helpful, as her carpal tunnel was drastically improved after she got her wrist brace because it physically restricted the movements of her thumb and prevented her from using it and making her issues worse

”As a fan of both I can say that I did not know of any hostility between the two fandoms. Besides, they were completely different shows trying to make separate points. All I can say is that I was super excited and proud that the Elementary writers made the gender swap for Watson, and that the relationship was platonic, as I would have thought much less of them otherwise. Interesting! Yeah, I think people's perspectives really differ according to their personal entourages. I didn’t even ship johnlock when Elementary started, so my feelings about the genderswap evolved differently; I have various issues with its writing, but they developed later and I don’t really talk about them here.
I only joined tumblr around TAB, and only for the Sherlock meta, so I'm with you on that! It’s literally the only reason I’m here. I’m glad to hear you’re still waiting, I’m working on a ton of things, but my time is unfortunately very limited atm.
This is the current tree that I've been working on. I may or may not have deleted all my old screenshots of my past trees. We'll see.
Since my heart log started at the top of a small mountain I'm planning on having my tree take over the outside of the mountain and then hollow it out. Progress is slow so far. Mostly because I'm a procrastinator and lazy.
The start of a very long and arduous process... It's worth it in the end though, trust me.
Over the next couple of days I'd made the trunk. I then took about a week to make the branches coming out of it and making them look 'pretty'.
After that it was a matter of farming leaves. That, isn't even close to the shear amount of leaves I collect for this project.
