A lovely autumn season to you all, members! Rather than the normal Halloween costume party ideas, (which you're more than free to explore) we have devised a rather chill event to encompass the spirit of the season. Fall prompted threads! 

What do you have to do? It's rather simple. Just like and/or comment on this post which of your muses you'd like to participate. Within a week's time, we'll randomly generate pairs and give you each a premise for a thread to go wild with. This will coincide usual activity in the real world of the city and will spark for people to maybe meet new people or talk with some they've only spoken to once or twice. Who knows what may happen in this magical time in such a large city? You will have to participate yourself to see what it has in store for you!

Val was settled on a sofa with a cup of alcoholic punch, taking big sips and playing with the long fake gray tail he was wearing. He was in his normal clothing- a worn leather jacket, an old flannel underneath, skinny jeans... except he had on a tail and some mouse ears. “Yeah, Halloween’s a pretty visual holiday, so I mostly come for the food an’ the company. See? I’m one of the three blind mice.” He teased, wearing sunglasses- a great excuse to wear them inside and not look weird. “Get it? Cuz... I’m blind... and uh, I ate my brothers. That’s why it’s just me.” He added, trying to figure out a story.

Dear Guest, You’re cordially invited to the Monroe Annual Memorial Weekend on East Hampton. Please join me for a weekend of fun in the sun, nightly bonfires, partying until you’re drunk enough to text your ex. Events will take place from May 25th, 2018-May 28th, 2018.

If partying is not your thing, no shame in that, feel free to come and spend the weekend anyway. Enjoy a free vacation on the Monroes. There’s plenty to do in the East Hamptons. Museums, galleries, food, shit like that.

It’s like Lego for adults, right?” Jay asked out loud, not too phased by the fact that the only reason he was inside Ikea for the first time in his life, was because the weather outside was too crazy for him to stay out. He’d received some angry looks from employees for the dog he was carrying in his arms, but it wasn’t like they could tell him to leave -- a lot of people seemed to be seeking shelter in the big building and Jay was one of the few who’d actually walked past the entrance and was now checking out the furniture, in complete awe of the many colors and possibilities. “All these little rooms are so cute!”

Results are in!

With an overall winning vote of 49.37%, we’re doing the staff and student route for the AU! Thank you all for participating in the voting system. 

We want to start by saying both the event and the task coupled together will be completely optional for everyone. The task will be a character sheet/survey of sorts just to help you flesh out your own characters and basically just to have fun with imagining them in the magical Hogwarts realm. It’ll be posted within a week or so before the actual event begins which’ll be on September 1st and last till the 14th. Ample time to interact with the other’s and explore possibilities of daily school life there! The time setting will also be present day.

Positions that can be taken will be on a first come, first serve basis and it can be located right HERE with regular updates. All you have to do to let us know is message the main directly on one of your accounts. Either through IM or submission or an ask and give us your character name(s) and the positions you wish (or the random phoenix wand core as it is the rarest) for each to fill. (EX: Logan Wolf, Prestigious Family, 7th year Slytherin Beater & Captain). We’ve linked some of the more confusing categories as well as all the classes professors can choose from so you can find out all the details you wish better by clicking right over their wording. If you have any other questions on the world so far you can always ask us or anyone in the Discord or OOC chat. I’m sure there’s wonderful knowledgeable members here happy to help. <3 Another precaution, you may want to add a 2nd option for what you want for your muse(s) as a safety net.

We’ll have reserves open as of RIGHT NOW and it’ll continue up until just before the event begins! This gives plenty of leeway time for everyone to get in or even change up their minds if and when they choose before it all goes down.

More details will probably released as they come. For now, if you have any further questions please feel free to ask and start sending in those reserves! We’ll put them all in for you guys!
