"I'm never watching another real life animal movie again. Ever." Valerie couldn't believe she went so many years without seeing Marley & Me and after finally watching it, she understands why she subconsciously avoided it. "No one told he he was going to die. I can't trust a single dog movie." She says, clearly emotional over the film she just endured.

"Okay, I'm in the mood to get a little bit drunk." He says as he opens the door, liquor bottle in hand. "Wanna join me? I won't even get mad if I'm left on the floor if I get too drunk to move. Hypothetically, of course."

The end of the month had Logan toiling with ideas for his upcoming changes of menu. Wanting a creative hook to insure his successful revenue would only increase, ambitious man that he was. “Hey, whaddya thing? Stranger things or Addams Family?” When in doubt, it was best to ask the very public his business relied on.

Jordan was often seen with his beloved pet since he’d gotten him. Both a good and bad element as, if he wasn’t on guard, the clever creature often could slip into things. Driven by the pure bottomless pit of hunger and curiosity he possessed. A rustling noise came into his ears when he was checking his messages and so he looked over to someone’s bag left unattended and a deceptively raccoon looking tail sticking straight out. “Yah, Lulu! You get out of there! That’s not yours!” He quickly scolded in his muddled accent, scrambling over to fish the munchkin cat out before any damage was done or things were eaten.

Dominic walked aimlessly out of his first class of the day and watched as other students hurried off to the library, other lecture halls or to their dorms to cry over their already massive pile of work. And while on most days he’d be found working in a quiet corner of the library, it was only the second week back and he was admittedly still in summer vacation mode. Pulling out his phone, Dominic typed out a quick text, hoping for a reason not to pull out his textbook.

Dom: I’ve got three hours to kill before my next class. Meet me for lunch? Maybe grab a slice of pizza?

“Now that hockey started its preseason, I finally feel like I am back to normal,” the redhead smiled as she rested against the seat at the table. “I never realized how much I rely on hockey outside of my job until the offseason and once the season starts, it’s like a relaxing aura enters my body. But how are you? It’s been a while since I’ve been social, to be honest.”

“If I told you I haven’t partied in a whole week, would ya believe me?” Val grinned, leaning on the table a bit. He had pushed his sunglasses up into his messy curls. “I’m a real workin’ stiff now. It’s absolute tragedy, really. Which is why I elect we have a good night. Booze, maybe. Drugs, perhaps. Pizza? Definitely. Or sushi. Shit, I could really go for sushi.”

Usually Blake would take Maverick around the park or quieter back streets when they went for walks, still fairly young the busy streets could be a bit daunting. But lately they’d started walking down main street and Blake couldn’t be prouder. His best friend Maverick was doing great, he bent down and scratched the golden dog behind his ear “good boy Maverick, good boy.” When Blake stood up again he felt someone run into him. “I’m so sorry, I shouldn’t have done that so abruptly. Are you okay?”
