Yes! My full name is actually 花子 (Hanako/flower child) in Japanese. My mother was adopted by a white family but was born in Tokyo. Her actual birth name was Hanako so since my grandparents changed it, she wanted one of her children to have it. I cry literally every time she tells me the story.
- How many siblings / pets do you have?
One older sister, Kira, who’s 29, and an older brother named Ken who’s 27. I have a cat named Iris who’s about 20. My mom is allergic to most things so until I get my own place, no cute doggos or anything else furry for me.
- Favorite tv show / movie / music?
TV: My favorite show of all time is The Office. I’m also stupidly fond of Ghost Adventures, Expedition Unknown, Destination Truth (I have such a goddamn crush on Josh Gates, don’t fuckin judge me), Miranda, In The Flesh, Queer Eye, and iZombie!
Movies: Dead Poets Society, Mrs. Doubtfire, The Birdcage, Jumanji (the original), Beauty and the Beast, Howl’s Moving Castle, the LOTR trilogy, Jurassic Park, Return of the Jedi, and Without a Paddle. I don’t fucking know why I love that movie so much, blame Seth Green. Basically everything with Robin Williams.
Music: Music is my life pretty much so I listen to too many groups and artists to count. Two of my favorites from different ends of the spectrum are James Arthur and Andrea Bocelli. My work playlist has everything from Ariana Grande to Pachelbel. I’m a hot musical mess, tbh.
- In what ways are you and your muse(s) similar?
Niko and I both are obsessed with The Office. We’re both members of the LGBT community, uh.. and we both have crazy, Polish parents. And the clumsiness. I can’t fake that shit. Otherwise, we’re basically opposites. I am SUCH an introvert whereas he’s an extrovert, ha.
- What’s one thing on your bucket list?
To hug Tom Hanks. Seriously, I don’t ask for much.
- Where would you like to be in five years?
As long as I’m not still stuck in Florida, I would be happy anywhere. I hope I’ve finished grad school and nursing school by then and I’m somewhere with a dog and hopefully someone I love.
- If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Flight or teleportation. I currently don’t have a car, so being able to go wherever the fuck I want whenever the fuck I want and not having to walk, ride a smelly bus, or catch a ride would be stellar.
- Would you consider yourself an optimist, pessimist, or realist?
I’m definitely an optimistic realist to the point of it being a fault. I try to be as positive as possible as I can be about things, but some situations I just have to accept that they’re shitty and deal with things as they come.
- Would you survive a zombie apocalypse?
HAHAHAHA - oh you weren’t kidding? Fuck no, I’d die the second I opened my door.
- When did you start roleplaying?
When I was 10 years old, I started rping on Neopets. I can’t believe I’m admitting to that. On tumblr though, 2012, I think? I was in a ton of Glee groups.
- If you could pick another place in the world to live, where would it be and why?
New Zealand! I studied abroad there for a year in college and it was literally the best experience of my life. I miss it SO MUCH. But if I had to choose somewhere in the US, probably Salem (MA) where I went to undergrad, San Francisco, or Seattle!
- Tell us about the first muse you ever had in a Tumblr roleplay.
My first muse was Blaine Anderson in some old Glee RP. My first OC was a Robert Pattinson FC who was basically just fucking Edward Cullen minus the vampire. I’m literally going to cringe myself to death.
- Do you have any alternate FC ideas for your current muse(s)?
Nope! I built Niko around Antoni being his FC because his mannerisms and general existence are adorable.
- What is your favorite holiday and why?
Oh my god, Halloween, easily. I’m a HUGE horror movie/autumn enthusiast so I love everything about this time of year even if I don’t live in an area with an actual fall anymore.

Nope. My dad named me. My mom named my sister. We’re modern I guess.
- Favorite tv show / movie / music?
Ugh, I’ve watched so much? For tv shows, I’m gonna say the first two seasons of Glee (because we know the rest is garbage), Queer as Folk, Skins and Orphan Black? For movies I definitely need to mention Mindhunters which isn’t like the greatest movie of all time but it’s one of my favorites? Also Little Miss Sunshine, Elizabethtown and Struck By Lightning. For music, I kinda listen to everything except uh... rap and hip hop and heavy metal stuff, but I’ve recently been getting more into kpop (cough, as you can tell from my fcs, cough) and I’ve always loved bands like Fall Out Boy, Evanescence and Marianas Trench, though I’ll also happily listen to an entire Ed Sheeran album.
- In what ways are you and your muse(s) similar?
Well, Hoseok is basically me for like 95%. I think Jay has my almost unhealthy way of trying to please other people and the struggles with food. Yoosung is the frustration inside of me, I guess. I don’t have much in common with him, actually, but we share a lot of views.
- Would you consider yourself an optimist, pessimist, or realist?
Pessimist? I wanna say realist, but definitely a pessimist lately.
- When did you start roleplaying?
When I was 13, I think? So 12 years ago.
- Tell us about the first muse you ever had in a Tumblr roleplay.
When I started roleplaying on tumblr I just played in a lot of Glee roleplays, because this was back when those were really popular. Must have been 2011 or something. Anyway, the first roleplay I was in was a Harry Potter AU and I played Kurt Hummel, who I played in... most of those roleplays.

Chris Colfer has always been HC but if I had to change him for whatever reason I’d definitely pick Cameron Monaghan or Logan Lerman.

Were you named after anyone?
No! I picked my own name actually (it’s Elliott, Eli is just a shortened name for RP purposes) and I just chose it because I liked it and it started with one of the letters that made up my then initials. My middle name is the ‘male’ version of my mom’s name though!
How many siblings / pets do you have?
I have one older brother and I’ve got one beautiful fat calico cat named Shirley.
Favorite tv show / movie / music?
For TV, I’m into Bojack Horseman, Ghost Adventures, Househunters, Queer Eye, Fargo, Broad City, Brooklyn 99... for movies, my FAVORITE is The Fall (it made me love Lee Pace), but The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Howl’s Moving Castle, and The Hobbit are 3 other faves. Music... uhhh.... I like a lot of soundtracks but I also love sia, Fall Out Boy, the Beatles, Lucius, Mother Mother, Hozier....
In what ways are you and your muse(s) similar?
Chris and I both want to work in costume design and love to act. Val and I have similar personalities (and I love to write, like him). Addie and I have a deep love of animals. Orion and I are just. Absolute idiots.

I really loved living in MA and would probably want to move back there, but I’d also love to try California.

I used to join exclusively Glee RPs so I would play Kurt Hummel ALL the time. Then I graduated to my own OCs. My first ever original muse was probably a Benedict Cumberbatch FC named Allan. I loved him- he was basically a self-insert who did illustration and writing like me. OOPs
Do you have any alternate FC ideas for your current muse(s)?
I always do and it’s annoying! I’ve been wanting to use Martin Freeman and debated switching up someone to use him but I think he’d have to be a brand new character. Addie’s FC switched a few times before I settled on Rahul, and Orion’s switched from Chris Pine to Lee Pace, haha!

Tbh, I’ve never thought about other faces. For me, I kinda make the character and the character picks it’s face. I’ve never once thought about changing them because for me they just fit.

Okay, so I know Thanksgiving is trash and problematic historically but from a personal place, it’s my favorite holiday because I get to see all my family and we get to hang out and just be together which imakes me thrive.
