((Bruh you know me, I am made of salt. I ALSO AM MADE OF RAGE. But these things can sometimes be overshadowed by my dislike of people shipping Raven and Beastboy. They tried that shit in canon, it literally failed. Move on with your lives!))

    She wanted to grab those cigarettes from im and toss them over the balcony, with everything that was going on, with everything that had happened, she did not need the stress of worrying over Jason’s health. Why was he being so fucking     SELFISH     ? But he would probably the same about her, that she was being selfish and taking herself and their child away from him. She had to think about their child, the child growing inside of her that they had made despite the dreadful situation that had been going around them. 

    Yet hearing him shout at her, raise her voice at her whilst she just stood there, listening to everything he had to say and she felt her eyes begin to tear up as she stood across from him. She was feeling herself begin to break, begin to fall apart with the stress of everything. Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath, she looked over at him, shaking her head as she tried to stand as tall as her aching back would allow her. 

    “     You just answered all of your own questions, Jason, you’re     OBSESSED     , I thought you’d be happy to be a father, happy to have someone else to take care of and instead . . . you focus on getting revenge when clearly the damn clown has lost interest in us,     ”     Harleen admitted, taking a deep breath before continuing, she wanted him to know exactly why she was going, why she was not going to allow him to drag her and their unborn daughter down with him on his need for revenge,     “     you have not been to a single doctor’s appointment, been with me to a single store to find anything for our child . . . it doesn’t feel like our child, it feels like     MY     child, so I’m gonna do what’s best for my child and you can chase the clown around to your heart’s content,     ”

    A small smirk pulls at her lips at Jason’s comment, he was always so     OVERDRAMATIC     and she definitely found it amusing. Gloved hands grip the wheels of her chair as she moved closer to him, an eyebrow raising as she looked up at him,     “     I dunno about you, but I feel pretty wise . . . maybe it’s the chair, I don’t know but yes, we’re     DAMAGED     , but that does not define us, Jason,     ”     Barbara said softly, taking one of his hands and squeezing it gently, giving him a small smile. She would not let Jason continue to focus on the negative, she still knew he could be the     HERO     he had been as Robin and he could be better, they all could be better,     “     if we continue to focus on that, that     CLOWN     wins and I don’t know about you, but I am never gonna let that happen,     ”

Hell is Empty

Tears stung her cheeks, hot with anger and resentment. “So that’s it? No other option.” The words shot with a cold sting, she didn’t deal well with this sort of thing.

She stood nearly as tall as him, only a few inches short. With squared off shoulders, she was far from backing down. “Do you even think before you make these plans? What the hell were you expecting me to do?” There was a hum in the air around her, Raven knew she was letting herself get out of control but she didn’t care.

Gen was perplexed at the new sight of him. Moving back to her home had taken longer than they imagined and it’d been weeks since a razor’s been near Jason. She’d become greatly accustomed to the over grown scruff and to say she’s sad to see it go was an understatement.
