Bleach Chapter 640 Quick Thoughts

"If you don't know, then don't move on your own judgment!" I enjoyed this chapter. I thought it was interesting, despite if you are not a fan of the characters, it at least go over their characters before the series comes to an end. While it does slow down the process, whatever this brings could be interesting. Pernida has grown smarter and now becomes a problem to Mayuri, since it was fighting reckless. It's no longer a mindless monster, rather a monster that knows who it is and that only means danger. Well, at least it's not a traditional "I'll tell you my power, so you can win over me." Mayuri was about to get a critical damage, that is until Nemu comes in and saved him from getting hit by an arrow. Mayuri doesn't thank her, rather scold her for her reckless action. That's where we learned her full name is Nemuri Nanagou, indicating this is 75th clone. That only brings the possibility of seeing the background of their relationship in the next chapter. Not to mention the first page (not colored one) shows a sign of the beginning. There is a cover page and colored pages for this chapter and I like it. Ichigo and Ishida side-by-side as rivalry, though I got to say, what's up with that kind of story. Yes, it's a Shounen, Weekly Shounen Jump no less, but I guess I'm tired of it. We got back from one of the most disappointment, I don't think we need another one. Maybe here won't disappoint. Anyway, the chapter was decent, hopefully the fight ends with a bang at least.
