Colt leaned in beside Alexis, hands in his pockets, and gave a quick, cocky smile. "So," he said, eyes narrowing slightly in mock seriousness. "What exactly are we looking at here? Or did you just bring me here to dazzle me with high-tech mumbo jumbo and hope I’d fall for it?"

He threw a sidelong glance her way, smirking. "Not that it isn’t working, by the way. I’m totally captivated by...whatever you’ve got going on here."

He nodded toward the pile of gadgets, giving her a wink. "Seriously though, if you’re planning on showing me up with this, at least give me the chance to pretend I know what’s going on."

her mother was on call and Sofia had just been dragged to the hosptial. Somedays really sucked having surgeons for parents. not just one either, all three of her parents were surgeons which meant this was nothing new. today her mom was in such a rush sofia had ended up in the waiting room. at least it was better than getting stuck with all the littles in the daycare, and she did have her ipad and headphones - but even that was only entertaining for so long. plus, this wasn't at all how the young brunette was hoping to spend her day.

the waiting room was rather quiet - a good thing in retrospect. sofia was drawn to the blonde woman also seated in the room. fearless of talking to strangers, for better or worse, the preteen left her things behind and approached the blonde, taking a seat beside her. "don't you think hospitals have a funny smell?"

To that Anon, whom I would bitch slap if I could find them. Ehem, why do we love or Like The Mun behind Katherine. Cause she is one of the best damn writers on this platform. And because she is one of the nicest, sweetest and most amazing humans I have the pleasure to know. She is one tough chica, and is fearless, doesn't back down from you pathetic anons. Cause she had heart, cause she is super talented at everything and she is one of the best people to have in your corner when you need someone to talk to. All around she is just genuine, caring and doesn't take shit from noone.

The enthusiasm is appreciated by him. The whole mission hadn't exactly been the easiest, much less gone very much according to plan. The stress of it all had definitely been getting to him and it was nice to take just a moment to breathe and feel even just the tiniest bit normal even just for a second.

"Been waiting three years." Brown eyes caught hers and he allowed his guard down enough to smile at her. "Gear up and we can head out."

He had visited her once before in his demonic form. That was when he asked her to do something to prove her loyalty to him. She passed that with no effort at all. She definitely was her mother's daughter, and just as fucking beautiful. She was married to his son, Chris - it was Satan that made it happen. He pulled a few strings, asked her to seduce Chris into a relationship with him.   He just planted the thought and feelings into his son’s head.    He was determined to have her married to his son.   The only thing in the way was the fucking wind bag in the sky trying to intervene in all of it.   He would get what he wanted,  he always did.   This time his visit would be in flesh,  in his real angelic form.   He had made himself at home inside his son and daughter in laws home.   Chris wasn’t home,  but Alexis was.   He could hear her moving around up stairs, she was alone,     not even his daughter was here,  no doubt with her human friends.   That alone sickened him,   that his daughter would lower herself  to mingle with such fucking waste.    She was a witch,    a demon and she didn’t even know it.   That would soon change,   he would make sure of it.    He moved within the house,   nearing the space that Alexis was.   His arrival was silent,  until he wished for her to know she was there.    His eyes traveled along her body,  drinking in every curve of her body.    What he wouldn’t give to taste her on his tongue once more.   His son was lucky to have such a powerful witch/demon in his life. “Alexis.” He said her name,  his voice vibrating through the room.   He gave a dark smile, as he stepped into the room further.  She really did hold her own,   such potential within her.   “So,  tell me how have things been going with my son?”   He knew that she had been doing everything right, the spells, the push that Chris needed to want to go back to the academy,  but still he was yielding,   not fully giving in.   He had an idea of who that was,  and you could say it put Satan in a terribly foul mood.
