So this lovely product landed in my inbox the other day from Eylure and I was really intrigued!
It seems to be the first false eyelash blender. Before you scratch your head, no this is NOT just a mascara, but it does work in a similar way.
The product itself is full of really nourishing ingredients to help your natural lashes :
The technique is to apply this over your natural eyelashes, then apply your false lashes on top then re apply the Blend & Care over the false lashes to get rid of any “tell tale” false lash gaps. You don’t need to use mascara with it as it has a really pigmented black finish.
It’s similar to mascara in that it lengthens and thickens lashes while nourishing, but it does feel different. It is somehow smoother and it definitely blends the natural lashes seamlessly to the false lashes. I used the Eylure Texture No 117 lashes to create this look in the demo video above using the new Lash Blender.
I would say if you are a false lash lover it would definitely be worth checking this product out. It does what it says and is a lot less messy than using regular mascara to bind the lashes to the false lashes.
I use false lashes on photoshoots regularly so I will be incorporating this product in future editorials. It’s always nice to have new things to test out and I can tell this one is going to be a favourite!
Removal is also really easy - it didn’t make the lashes stick to my natural ones in such a way that was hard to remove and it didn’t take a long time to remove like some waterproof mascaras do for example. It just glided off easily with makeup remover. It’s not glue, it’s just a really nourishing new product that helps blend your lashes to your false lashes. Easy!
Another win from Eylure - I’d give it 10/10 and it’s definitely going in my kit! You can find this product at Boots but for more info check it out here :
