"Cat Model" by CSolarstorm
After months of trying to get the anatomy right, I can finally show off my finished 3D model of a cat! This has given me so much practice in Blender.
Screenshots of my progress:
Kitty kisses! Oh, I never added back the whiskers. I don't think it's a big deal.
Tip: It's hard to attach a fully finished head to a body that is just a box.
I used bright colors sometimes to highlight the areas I was working on. The cat's muted orange colors are from our cat Casper.
Originally this was going to be Casper, but his tabby stripes have been a challenge, so I decided to leave the individual texturing of each of our cats for later and just leave some general orange markings.
I can't wait to use this model for my upcoming projects!

I loved omori so much! A lot more coming from me. For any request let me know ^.^
I made a revolver in Blender! This is my first serious 3D project that I made for a game idea I had. I think it looks pretty cool.
CC Progress - 003
made lots of progress on meshing a hair from scratch BUT it got all fucked up when importing to s4studio 'cause maybe i forgot to flip normals before doing all other things??? dunno what happened 😭
donuts from outer space!!!
you guys were so right. this goddam tutorial is the best thing to start getting the hang of things. i feel like i finally understand texture work and weight paint. still feel like i need to learn more about uv maps tho, but that's something for the next few dayzz
CC Progress - 004
From my last post, I mentioned that I was having a hard time with texturing. While I still don't feel like I'm a professional at sculpting. I think I know enough now to at least be able to google or formulate my questions for 3D Meshing.
I found an amazing Maxis Match texture tutorial on YouTube by @simsina.
I'm gonna keep it bookmarked as a resource. They show how to get maxis textures for your 3D Mesh.
I think I need to start searching in my downtime if other creators have uploaded Sims 4 textures already before I go and start creating my own. Once I get texturing down and I keep learning how to properly use blender to sculpt I'm gonna have some cc!
