Who would most likely win at chess: Bleoberis or Lancelot?
Bleoberis
Lancelot
Bleoberis: He plays chess with Arthur and Pharamond in Guiron le Courtois.
Lancelot: In the Vulgate Cycle, he shows skill in chess from an early age, and by the time he starts training for knighthood, he's the best chess player in the lake. As an adult, he alone in Arthur's court can beat the magic chessboard which Gwenbaus made.
Bleoberis really is a Name of All Time.
Anyway his worst trait is the fact that he becomes a crusader. Very Uncool. Not beating out Bors for my fav Lancelot cousin yet.
I just decided that every day I will take a random page and a random name from one of my arthurian dictionaries. Random. That’s it.
(From C. Bruce’s Arthurian Name Dictionary).
Damas of Desert A Knight of the Round Table and brother of Damcab and Caradan. Damas hated Lancelot's family because of their fame and skill. With four knights of similar opinions, he attacked Galahad and Bleoberis during the Grail Quest, and was slain by Bleoberis. [PostQuest, ProsTris]
Omg, Galahad and Bleoberis were together during the Grail Quest. Sounds like a plot bunny.
