Yesterday was perfect - dancing around the kitchen to Christmas music with my mom while chopping veggies, seeing my step-sister for the first time in two years, my mom beaming at having both of us there with our respective boyfriends, catching up with my cousins without them having their faces in their phones for once, and making dish duty fun with my partner in crime. It was a much later night than I anticipated (so we weren’t able to attend a friends’ gathering after like originally planned) but overall, it was a good start to a three-day marathon of Christmases. 

I probably won’t be on social media much these next couple days so Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah to all my followers!
