Sota Fukushi plays lead character in the live action adaptation of this famous manga

Sota Fukushi who played the role of Ren Ichinose in the live action adaptation of the manga, Strobe Edge, will play the role of Ichigo Kurosaki for the live action adaptation of the Tite Kubo masterpiece, Bleach.

We know that most live action adaptations of favorite manga titles often receive criticism for lacking substance and taking a different route from the plot of events from its manga source.

I admired Sota in his character as Ren Ichinose. His chiseled face and physique suited his character well. Plus, his portrayal is quite a watch despite the story's mellow young love plot.

To see him in a different role, an Ichigo Kurosaki character at that, will be something to look forward to. I believe it is a role that will be highly anticipated by Bleach and manga fans alike following the manga's critical success among its readers. This will allow us see Sota's flexibility as an actor of his generation.

Bleach live action is expected to be released this 2018.
