Animals are so amazing. You can just hug them and cry and they will look at you to see if you're ok and they will give you so much affection without asking questions.

It still amazes me how Sophie and Tiger react to my sadness. Tiger fussed over me as much as she could, and Sophie didn't leave my side. She pretty much glued herself to my hip when we buried Bowser. It amazes me because when we first got them, I was at my worst mentally; they trained themselves to be my therapy animals, they learnt how to pick all the signs, and they learnt what to do to help me cope. Sophie knew my depression better, and Tiger knew my anxiety best. And they were what I needed most. Even now, years later, while I've learnt how to balance myself and get through depression and know how to cope with all my anxieties, they still know exactly what to do when I have the rare off day. It just amazes me the connection I have with them both. Animals are amazing.
