About Me

Hello! Updating this pinned post as it’s been a while and I’m not as active on here anymore. Please note I used to go by FaeriexQueen both on here and AO3, but that name has since been updated to FaeriexPrince. Welcome to my Tumblr blog! I’m no longer as active on here, though I occasionally might pop on. This has primarily been where I’ve posted any fanfiction and the occasional attempt at fanart, plus any nature/scenery posts for writing inspiration. Fundraiser - Gender Affirming Surgery

Hello! So I am not as active on Tumblr anymore, but am taking a chance by posting this here. I’ma transgender Iranian American man currently living in the United States, and have been struggling to get insurance to cover body masculinization surgery. It’s something I’ve been working on for months, and despite two appeals, multiple doctors’ letters, and working with the State Office of Insurance Commissioner, I have had to resort to crowdfunding to get the surgery covered. Medical expenses will be very expensive and over $24,000 - I’m currently trying to raise $26,000 to on GoFundMe to take into account transaction fees, transportation costs when I’m recovering and can’t drive, etc. I realize it’s a crazy amount of money, and I’ve uploaded documentation of the quote to my GoFundMe page for transparency while posting updates on the situation, including a bit about what happened with insurance not covering this and why I can’t rely on family support (mostly being the majority of my family is in Iran, and still navigating the effects of the war). Honestly, I don’t expect to raise the full amount, but if I can even raise some of it to get a more manageable loan as an option, it would help tremendously. I need $`1000 as a deposit just to secure the surgery date. If you see this and are willing to reblog, I’d deeply appreciate it. And if you can donate it, that would also be absolutely appreciated! This is something that has really messed with my gender dysphoria, and if this could be at least circulated so more people see it and can pitch a few dollars here and there, that would honestly help so much. (I know it sounds cliche, but if this reached over 20,000 views and each person donated a dollar, then that would cover the bulk of this surgery.) I am usually very picky about fanfiction I read, but your kanda x alma fics from ten years ago are still one of the best works this fandom had imo. thank you so much for writing those and know that im still gobbling them all up in 2026

I am so rarely on Tumblr these days and haven’t been as active in fandom spaces anymore, but I happened to check this and can’t say how much this means to hear! I’m so glad to know people are still enjoying my Yulma fics — those will always have a special place in my heart and I still think about them from time to time. <3 I actually was thinking of a few lately so I might go back and look at them. ^^ Thank you so much for sending this!

i think because of the whole "writers write for themselves" notion that's becoming increasingly popularized, people forget that we still thrive off interaction and kindness. i write for myself but kudos and comments and bookmarks and really any sort of interaction with my fics genuinely motivates me to keep writing and keep sharing my works.

You ever think about the Savanaclaw dreams in Book 7? You know, how Jack and Ruggie didn’t just dream about happy endings for themselves but happy endings for Leona too?

Jack dreams Leona has the confidence in himself to work towards winning the Interdorm magift tournament which helps bring the dorm together and doesn’t result in a bunch of casualties. Ruggie dreams Leona has the political sway back home to help revitalize the slums of Sunset City and start a school there that benefits the poorest and hungriest of the community.

Meanwhile, Leona dreams he fucked up his country so badly that there’s a group of revolutionaries that Ruggie is also part of who are trying to overthrow him and probably kill him.

Other characters imagine happy endings for their friends, but Leona’s the only one who couldn’t dream of one for himself and also dreamed that people who care about him in real life were against him. :’)
