and jonathan had no idea that Steve could write something so moving and meaningful (he doesn’t think Steve is dumb but he just didn’t think steve could be so /passionate/ and /loving/) and the first love letter he gets, jonathan think he’s exaggerated but when they’re alone Steve tells him in his face and recites the whole letter, kissing him between each sentence “you’re heart is warm and beautiful, you’re so kind Jonathan, you find beauty in everything and capture it” Steve tells him and (2/?)

jonathan is a flustered mess. Nancy is holding Jonathan from behind, a smile hiding against his shoulder blade, her hands resting on Jonathan’s hips as she watches Steve kiss Jonathan’s ears and whisper compliments to him. It’s not something Jonathan is used to, affection from other people outside from his mom and brother, so it’s /weird/ but he can’t deny that he’s enjoying it. His heart is pounding in his chest as he leans in for another kiss from Steve and then asks “tell me more?” (3/?)

Sorry I put (3/?) bc that’s all I have lol ;_____; I just want the three of them in loving relationships and building each other up!!! Jonathan and Nancy helping Steve studying math bc they know it’s not his best subject, Steve knowing Nancy needs a different type of comfort when she feels guilty over Barb and he trusts Jonathan to do that, Jonathan finding out how caring and deep Steve is and that Steve just wants to protect everyone, Nancy helping Jonathan and Steve thru dad issues (4/?)

bc I like to hc that Steve doesn’t have the best relationship with his parents; they’re cold and distant and they don’t have any interest in their son. Sorry this is so long and now I’m rambling lol I’m sorry for flooding your inbox! (5/5)

I’m too overwhelmed to even write a coherent addition to this I’m just so in love with your writing and I have the same hc about Steve’s parents too and omg Jonathan being so flustered and overwhelmed but loving everything and Nancy just being so happy for both of her boyfriends this is exactly how i picture them!!!!
