Mending

This could be the most chaotic week yet for the Ranker. First he lost his memory, had a fight with Hope, and met some new people thanks to it. Would he wish for a better week? Maybe. But, if Hope wanted his alone time, Zig had other means of keeping himself occupied. 

Exploring Academia equated to one of those things. He visited this place often for obvious reasons, so why not take the time to learn? It was the chance to meet the citizens and other employees of the Academy, which lead to surprises down the road. Surprises such as Noel doing...whatever he was doing. Might as well check up on the hunter and not stale their relationship.

"Hey Noel! Wandering the town as well, are you?" Zig shouted, waving to signal where he was, "Any reason you're out here or are you hanging around like me?"

Oh this was not going to be easy. Nothing in life was for the hunter, but this was his Achilles' heel. He couldn't properly speak, it wasn't good with words, they just came out in a jumbled mess like mud mixed with sand. He was a man, well boy all things considered, of action. He could make a move and get his point across, show people what he meant in a battle, not words. He had Serah and Hope for those. But now he had to somehow, someway, get them in the perfect order to start making it up to his much better, superior, of which he was unworthy of, half. He could only hope, he had to give a small chuckle at the seemingly unavoidable pun that came up, that he would accept.

So after hours of pacing and nearly giving up and to the brink of very, very, uncharacteristic tears, he managed to muster up the courage to walk up to the director's office and knock, waiting for an answer.

  Come on Hope, you've gotta answer...You're gonna give another second chance, aren't you?

The sharp point sticking out the door meant something, and this person either wanted to threaten him or kill him. Or it could be both in that order, which wouldn't be a surprise from most of the High Rank Rankers around here. 

Zig left his room to remove the knife, reading the note. It wasn't too much of a surprise to see Noel's name on there, nor was the threat about Hope any less of a surprise. Too bad the Ranker's various other death threats dulled down any shock.

"Thanks for the knife, Noel! I could use this in case my other one breaks!" Zig pocketed both the knife and the note, going on with his day without much of a care.

13. When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say? Who was it? What did you have to tell the person?[The younger Winchester took his lower lip into his mouth, chewing on it softly as he racked his brain for the answer.] I'm a Winchester, lying is kinda part of the deal. The last thing I can remember having an incident like this was more of an action instead of words. I tried to kill Castiel not too long ago. That was difficult because he became someone close to me, which doesn't happen that often, and I didn't even hesitate. There was no doubt in my mind that I had to try and kill him. I failed but I still don't feel right about it.
