and what else can he really do in the face of potential danger except laugh ? he wants to push, push, PUSH and see how far he can go before it blows up in his face. he wants to grab that stick and poke the bear over and over again until something fun happens. over a thousand years of lives lived, over a thousand years of interactions with people that had become so predictable over the years that nothing seemed fun anymore.
