Friends for Life

I remember going for my first ultrasound with my first pregnancy. For so long I wished to have only boys - not because I don’t like girls - I’ve always been just one of the guys. While I laid on the exam table, I convinced myself I was having a boy. Imagine my surprise when the ultrasound tech said “It’s a girl.” I admit - I cried. Not because I didn’t want a daughter - but because I was scared to death. I was not a girlie girl. I don’t wear makeup. I don’t care about the latest fashion. I’m not into princess parties and spa trips. Let’s watch football or baseball or basketball. Having a daughter changed my life forever. 

What I didn’t realize back then was that I gained a life long friend. She is an amazing gift from God. I can’t imagine my life without her. Even though I thought that having all boys was the path I wanted to go down, God knew that I needed a daughter. Not only did I get a daughter - I got a Friend for Life. Wouldn’t trade her for the world!

Our surprise blessing from God.❤🙏🏻 Tinanong ni Fr. Hans kanina kung sino raw yung mga nakakumpleto ng Simbang Gabi last year. Isa ako sa mga nagtaas ng kamay. As devotion nating mga Filipino na kapag nakumpleto natin ang simbang gabi may magandang regalo tayong matatanggap sa Pasko or matutupad ang mga ipinagdadasal natin. At eto nga just like how we accompanied Mama Mary in her journey of 9 months to bring our saviour in this world tru the 9 nights of simbang gabi and by completing it. We recieved our surprise blessing from God, our baby Chaela.❤🙏🏻 Truly, one of the best present ever!😍 Our Christmas baby and I gave birth exactly 9 months after Christmas.🤗🥰 P.S. I didn't ask for baby last year. Today was one of the most SPECIAL days at Countryside. One of our Puppies became a "Wish" presented to Spencer who is 14 yrs old and has a rare cancer called Alveolar Rhablomyosarcoma. His wish was for a black Countryside Standard Poodle Puppy. Rainbow Connection out of Rochester MI made his wish come true today. I was blessed with the perfect puppy to fit the bill. This black girl is very laid back and loves to be cuddled. A special puppy for Spencer to love and snuggle with. I prepared her in a white Angel harness for her special calling. Spencer and his family fell immediately in love when they saw this angel. I know she was a gift from God and was placed here for this wonderful boy. Her beauty is also a gift. A special Thank You from all of us at Countryside Standard Poodles and Grooming Services to Nancy from Rainbow connection for all you do! What an incredible job she has! Thank you Rainbow Connection for helping us make Spencer's wish come true today! We are hopeful that we will be seeing her for Spa days in the future.
