I really like pieces that make you slightly uncomfortable, such as these Bless pumps covered in leather fringes. They look like some evil Muppet. And who doesn't want evil Muppet shoes? Bless specialises in this weirdness. The first piece I ever saw in a store was a hairbrush of which the pins were replaced by long hair. Instantly I was intrigued. For those who don't know Bless, they were responsible for the recycled fur wigs on Margiela's fall 1997 runway. They can be described more as a collective than fashion designers, blurring the lines between fashion, design and art, always with a conceptual twist.
