Departments of Hell according to my MOTW campaign:
Wrath: everyone is an asshole. Your personal enemy and hard-ass coach. Everyone can and wants to kick your ass.
Pride: surprisingly nice. Your personal encouraging coach and mentor. Wants you to be a better person. Everyone is gay and gets every Pride festival/celebration day off work.
Lust: horny mostly. Also surprisingly nice. Bleeding heart group and not afraid to show their emotions. Your personal counselor.
Greed: your personal Sugar Daddy/Momma. Will either screw you over or actually try to help you depending on if you’re actually greedy.
Envy/Jealousy: Not very productive group. Your personal worst ex. Works a lot with Greed.
Gluttony: Your personal inner demon telling you that, yes, it is a good idea to eat that whole pack of Oreos. And yes, you really should indulge. Treat yo self. Self care, baby!
Sloth: Do you really need to work hard? Or can you just slack off and still squeeze by with the bare minimum? Sloth is that one kid in your high school class who like, paid people to do their homework. They are also on team “over-indulging in self care” with Gluttony.
(Bonus) Trickster/Kitsune Department: They caused too many troubles in other Departments so had to be kicked out to their own Department.
(Bonus) The Supply Closet: Sticklers for rules and regulations. Frustratingly bureaucratic - takes five different forms just to requisition a pen.

One thing that really saddens me is broken families- like the brothers who have a disagreement and are never able to reconcile. One of the stories I was working on a while back included this aspect, the younger brother died before they could reach reconciliation and the older continued the feud with his nephew. My favorite part of having that thread in the story was when the two brother’s sons became best friends. They overcame their fathers’ quarrel and became the brothers their fathers should have been. They’re cousins again and that old wound is mended.
