Do YOU want to know how to badly make a picket?
Yes you do!! ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ )
Here’s my picket tutorial requested by @m3nherapr1ncesss2
The art is by my wonderful moot @astralcuite
What you need:
( i would recommend having a large bit of cardboard instead of little bits, i was just running out of cardboard)
First things first you have to cut out the shape you want from your cardboard ( don’t worry about it being super even, the edges get covered by ribbon anyways. Also maybe don’t bend your cardboard in half like i did because then you get an ugly little line ) and then glue your image down and trim it.
Then you start adding your ribbon! I am very bad at explaining things so i’ll just show you how to do it. Make sure you put paper down when hot glueing!!!!!
Stunning
Second layer! You can do as many as you like but i’m only doing two
Now you do your stick/handle/holdy bit. Cut cardboard to the shape you want, slap some paper on there and then stick bamboo skewers to the back so it’s not all floppy. Then glue it on the back
Add all of your extra decorations and you’re done! Yay! ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ )
My one turned out a bit ugly because i don’t have the patience to do it carefully and neatly haha
If you use my tutorial you should totally tag me so i can see…

While I was packing I found this old comic I apparently never finished- a sort of epilouge idea for Ember's End.

I'm sorry, most of the dialogue was in light pencil and rubbed off, I don't remember everything they were saying lol
The rest is under the cut!
