Oh, I definitely know Bletchley Circle. It's been so long since I watched it that I'm hazy on character names, but Anna Maxwell Martin should leave her boring husband and go away with Rachael Stirling, the end.
I started watching Hotel Portofino and gave up despite its nominally being my sort of thing. Which is to say that my experience of Assad Zaman is limited, but he really is disconcertingly good-looking. I think he should be a former spy (now, officially at least, just behind a desk) with a superb command of languages who is falsely accused of treachery in the unsettled days of empire's dissolution. Our protagonists will offer tea, sympathy, and exoneration.
