wow........ i have a lot to say but i unloaded on twitter earlier and rn i just wanna say..... i FUCKING love albert.... absolutely iconic gay antihero, criminally (ha) underrated by certain apparently v salty fans (of a certain... COUGH), would watch spinoff about him handling political intrigues + cuddling pasco + his love of furansu. WHO’S WITH ME?

clues so far in favour of ‘albert was born into the lupin family/a branch of the family but rejected that lineage somewhere down the line’.... n i’m thinking cousin but @vampirenaomi suggested could be half-brother and that’s always a ready source of interpersonal conflict in drama....

tbh next episode or anytime this arc would be the perfect moment to confirm lupin as bi cuz if albert isn’t a brother or cousin but actually an ex, it works organically into the plot and theme of past love and betrayal, but also cuz it salvages something good based on lupin’s comfort with the idea of same gender attraction out of the weird queerbaity moments in the marco polo arc?

also WE DID GET THE CONFIRM ON ALBERT AND HIS DUDE PASCO and i am happy but now really scared bc albert successfully outsmarted and shot lupin aka mr plot armour and i’m not sure the resolution will be so kind to him unless they work things out amicably.... the last thing i’d want is the canon gay characters/couple being messed up like that or one or both of them dying... ya it’s 2018 but this shit is still on all the time in media.... even lupin being confirmed bi wouldn’t take away from the sour taste of that

i was saying earlier that this ep is probs the most lively we’ve seen jigen in quite a while, his lil scene on the couch was so cute, i hope that was him showing up (the gunshot) to save lupin’s stupid ass at the end of this ep

why IS lupin so fired up about the book? i like to think lupin wouldn’t pass up the golden opportunity to make life difficult for a bunch of corrupt cops, but is that it? i still think he should turn it over to ami so she can wikileak that shit, that would tie things together nicely (i wanna see my girl ami flourishing and her dads visiting sometimes) tbh.... or i guess zeni can get involved i already miss him

goemon’s much welcomed return!!! ok so the walking anachronism thing is actually anachronistic within the loose continuity of the series (was it the conan xover where he had an iphone? even blupin italy he had a phone surely?) but i think now they are doing this to get him to actually try enjoy ‘foreign’ stuff as a running gag.... the cheese fondue, him thanking the kids on the streets in french (!!!! MY BABY!), the fucking skater helmet in next ep aaaaaa HE’S SO CUTE sladhflkhads

let’s talk about albert’s cute stylish bf, could he be of indian descent? maybe moroccan? he’s def darker skinned and while we haven’t (luckily) had any offensive racial stereotypes so far, brown recurring supporting cast rep AND gay rep together would be awesome.
