Hey Mod 6 @this-is-ableism, we saw that you're feeling overwhelmed with the sheer amount of submissions, and want to offer both you and your followers another avenue!
Here at Queer-Confessional, we don't have much in the way of requirements, or subjects the submissions need to stick to. We're here for everyone (with a focus on the Queer Community and People of Color / BIPoC)!
While this body does not have any technical certifications, we've been through quite a lot in our several decades of life. One of the things that has shown to be a repetitive issue, is having spaces where it's safe to speak on a significant portion of "inappropriate" subjects, which affect a great many of us and our lives. This blog is a space where that is accepted as a normal part of life, and all are welcome to express these things.
As a Brown, Queer, and disabled person who was raised/lived in extremely hostile environments (including, but not limited to, mental incarceration) I have seen just how vital it is for us as humans to be able to have spaces like this. To have people we can turn to, who won't shy away from the difficult things. Well, this is that space! We are that person!
You (yes, even you!) are welcomed here! And we will fight for y'all! And y'all's right to have this!
