Blindfold challenge?

Metal tapping on the ground helped guide her feet, she found doing this often reminded her that she was on a sidewalk, and this world’s roads were not completely dirt like her hometown it was a nice change to notice the different sounds of her rod hitting the ground. Her sandals clicked against the ground with each step the sound of her own sandals was always calming as the noise would be the only normal one around her, the only noise besides her own voice that she recognized in this world and hardly changed. Though with time she knew she would grow used to all of the sounds that came from this world, but for now some sounds would still throw her off such as a distant sound of clicking that seemed to be coming from somewhere near her. Peeking her curiosity her steps turned to the sounds of clicking as she began to walk her rod tapping the ground as she moved until it hit something that sounded like metal tapping glass, and once again tapping the glass like sound with her rod she moved to place her hand on the object and gave a soft push, only to have the object easily move forward at an angle, it seemed this was a door and the clicking quickly became louder.
The first thing that Mia noticed, besides the clicking, was the many voices that were filling her ears, what kind of place was it? Upon asking herself this in her head another voice rang out saying ‘Welcome to Retroblast! The best arcade in Cestrelle! Can i help you with anything?’ in which Mia would respond with a rather surprised voice as she did not expect a loud voice to boom near her, “What?! Oh no, no, i’m just...exploring a bit, i heard strange clicking from this direction and i wanted to find out what it was.” Firstly Mia was going to say that she was looking around, but in fact that would be the worst kind of thing to say considering her situation, but nonetheless she did hear the person walk away so she knew she could walk around. Tapping her rod on the carpeted floor gave a weird noise to her ears and with the sound of many voices around her began to hurt her head as she moved along until her rod would hit the machines with a gentle tap causing the metal hitting metal sound allowing her to know that the fans she could hear were coming from the machines perhaps a cooling method? Her rod continued to guide her around the Arcade that was until it came to a sudden stop that sound like a ‘thump’ instead of a tap or a kind of wall of metal.
in the few seconds where she hear the noise and was able to process it and quickly her face turned a soft purple in almost what seemed like fear as she realized she just lightly hit someone's leg with her metal rod, she began to silently panic as she began to think she was going to be yelled at so she backed up let her rod drop to the floor with a clang as she covered her head with both hands. “I’m sorry i didn’t mean to i swear! i can’t see anything and it’s too loud to hear any kind of breathing or speaking i didn’t know you were there!” Mia said almost cowering in fear of whoever this was, she was still so used to the people of her home town hating her that this was a very normal reaction to her, though as nothing came Mia began to slowly move her hands and recover a more normal pose quickly realizing she had shouted this for absolutely no reason apparently and the place had gone quiet for a moment. “Um...? You aren’t going to hit me? Or yell? i kind of...expected it...i’m sorry i shouted everything is alright...i think.” Mia said with a soft sigh as she began to pat her side. “Huh? My rod is gone...did i drop it? Where did it go? Has anyone seen my rod?” Mia asked though the rod lay in plain sight ust off to her side, not that she could actually know that though.
